Web Sites

Both DTP and websites... The links are logical. Both technologies require design skills tempered by a knowledge of the limitations of their respective presentation media. In many cases even the same software can be used to prepare supporting files. So it's no coincidence that we handle both of these publishing aspects for many of our clients.

Do you really need a website?... A web site can be a formidable method of publicizing and of selling your services or products. But before you commit your precious funds you should be quite clear about your web site objectives and what extra commitments it will require from you and your business. As part of our initial discussions with clients we always ensure that these matters are fully addressed.

What does a web site entail?... The fundamental components of a website are:
[1] ownership of a domain name (eg pagepeople.com.au)
[2] creation of the image and html files which together comprise the web site
[3] establishment of a hosting arrangement which permits 24/7 public access to the website
[4] ongoing management and updating of the files on the site
